The street lamps cast a golden yellow hue on all the buildings at night. After dinner, we walked the quiet and empty streets of Parma. We were on the look out for a Gelateria, crossing our fingers that we’d find one that would be open late. We celebrated with excitement when we found one. It was the perfect way to close out the evening. We laughed together and savored our stracciatella. Enjoying each other’s company, we stared into the empty cobblestone streets which seemed to be paved in gold.

•This original painting is created with professional quality acrylic paints and a palette knife. Varying brush strokes were used to create the texture and character of “Paved In Gold”. The acrylic painting is continued on to its edges which equates to a frame thickness of 1.5” and will add depth to any room in your home.
